Many times the hardest part of food allergies is finding a suitable alternative to a food you already love. For example, if you love peanut butter then discover you have a peanut allergy, what are you going to do? The most fortunate thing about our story is that my son was born with food allergies this means he did not eat other foods so he does not make that comparison. Personally, I think that made it easier for us.
In saying that, I thought I would post a few of the products I have in my home on a regular basis. Again, please read the ingredients for yourself before you purchase.

Earth Balance Non-Dairy Buttery Spread (safe butter)
These are just a few of our favorite brands. What are your favorite allergy-friendly brands?

These are great! We like the same ones as you. I recently found Udi’s gluten free white sandwich bread. Though I eat gluten free most recently, I can eat this bread but my son with egg allergy cannot.
We also like Enjoy Life cookies-the chocolate brownie ones especially. They are free of the top 8 allergens. I like to take chocolate DUncan Hines frosting which is gluten free, and allergen free, and put it over these little cookies. They are like mini cupcakes!
Kentucky Legend is a delicious ham that I called and they said they are gluten free–so that is something new we have added to our diet as well as fritos dipped in frito lay original bean dip (I called them and they are gluten free as well).
We also like Biscuick gluten free mix–we use energ egg replacer in it and make pancakes and probably other things too.
I’ll share more as I think of them, I am going to work on adding all this stuff thats in my head and recipe binder at home and put it on my blog to share. Need that organization to start so I can encoruage others as you.
Thank you for sharing!
